ONASA: Delegation of the Islamic Community of BiH is
participating at the plenary session of the OSCE "Human Dimension
Implementation Meeting 2016" in Warsaw. "The basic characteristics of
the organization of the Islamic Community is an organic compound of presenting
the truths of the faith, with the holders of religious authority, and
presenting the will of the community, with the elected representatives of the
faithful," said Muhamed Jugo, a member of the delegation. The traditions
of the Islamic Community in BiH as well as system regulation recommend us to
share our achievements and experiences with members of the European Union when
establishing relations with Muslim communities. I take this opportunity to
thank for the support of Ambassador Jonathan Moore, Head of the OSCE Mission in
BiH. Our goal, for instance, is to achieve the status of the "Corporation
of public law" in Germany, he stressed. The delegation of the Islamic
Community invited participants of the meeting to a special side event of the
Islamic Community in BiH: "The role of the Islamic Community in the
institutionalization of Islam in Member States of the European Union and the
OSCE." The participation of the delegation of the Islamic Community at the
plenary session is very important, Director of the Department for Foreign
Affairs and Diaspora Razim Colic confirmed. BiH is on the path to membership in
the European Union and the Islamic Community in BiH
through significant Bosniak diaspora in EU member states
affects certain processes. The delegation in Warsaw consists of Muhamed Jugo,
senior associate for relations with the Western world in the Department of
Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community, Mirnes
Lemeš, senior associate of the Diaspora and Bosniaks living abroad, Muhamed
Fazlovic, senior associate for relations with churches and religious
communities, and writer and journalist Muhamed Jusic.

implementation of the OSCE human dimension commitments, discuss associated
challenges, share good practices and make recommendations for further
improvement.
